Trauma Informed Youth Ministries (TIYM) is based on the beliefs that God designed relationships to heal, and that God moves powerfully when we prioritize those hurting in our midst.

TIYM was initially birthed through Benny Halbert’s experience as a Youth Pastor, before then being refined while he completed a Masters in Developmental Trauma at Texas Christian University. Pulling from Biblical truth, contemporary neuroscience, and Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI), TIYM provides an evidence-based approach to youth ministry and discipleship.

Opportunities for engaging in TIYM currently focuses on the TIYM Introduction training, with individual and group consultation coming soon.

For those who are also interested in receiving psychotherapy services, Benny is currently practicing as a therapist in Washington State and is open to explore support for those residing there.
